Beauty Haul...

This last month I've bought quite a few beauty goodies so I thought I'd share them with you all and later on I will review the products individually.

I'm not usually a lipstick lover but this last month I've become obsessed! I typically stick to neutrals and light pinks as I have quite thin lips so find it hard to pull of dark and bright colours.
I first went into Boots and picked up a Bourjois Rouge Edition in shade 08 Rose Studio - this is a lot brighter than I usually go for but I absolutely loved the shade so thought it was about time I tried something new for the Spring/Summer season. You can pick these up from any Boots store for £7.99. I then was browsing Fragrance Direct and found a range of Calvin Klein cosmetics as they are being discontinued; they had a huge selection of lipstick shades but after a lot of researching for swatches and reviews I decided to go for Rose Rush and Henna. Rose Rush is a lot darker than I anticipated so I'm not sure if I'll get much wear out of it but I absolutely love Henna - it's a beautiful neutral tone and looks lovely for a natural lip. I also bought a Calvin Klein lipgloss in Mirage but forgot to swatch it  - it's a very light gloss and adds the perfect finish to Henna. You can pick these up from Fragrance Direct for £1.99 each which is an absolute bargain!
Whilst in Boots, I also picked up Maybelline Falsies mascara after hearing so many reviews about it. I'm terrible at applying false eyelashes so hopefully this will give me the same effect. You can pick this up at Boots for £7.99 however, it is currently on offer for £5.99.
Blusher is probably my favourite make up item to buy. I love how it can perk up your face and make you have an instant healthy glow. I saw lots of fellow bloggers going crazy over the discounted Dainty Doll products over on Fragrance Direct and because I've never tried any of their products I thought now was my perfect chance at around £1.99 per item (amazing!). I picked up these two powder blushes in My Girl and You Are My Sunshine - My Girl is a lovely baby pink whilst You Are My Sunshine is a warm golden orange - a lot of people have said it's a good dupe for Nars Orgasm so if you aren't prepared to pay Nars prices then I'd definitely encourage you to purchase this.
I also picked up the cream versions of these blushers for a more dewy finish; however, My Girl is called Paper Roses and You Are My Sunshine is called Orange County Girl. Again, these are a bargain at £1.99 each from Fragrance Direct.

Here is a comparison between the cream and powder blushers:

For many months I have been searching for the perfect nude shade and I've finally found it in the form of Lychee by Barry M. I saw lots of beauty bloggers raving about this so I thought I'd pick it up and see if it was what I'd been looking for. You can purchase this from Boots for £3.99.
Whilst also on my travels to Boots I picked up some Biore pore strips for £7.99 as I've never tried any before and have always wanted to give them ago especially as my nose tends to get bad open pores when my skin is oily. I'll do a more detailed review on these some other time so keep your eyes peeled. I've also been suffering my some really bad breakouts on my chin lately so purchased La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo for £13 after reading some amazing reviews about it - again, I will do a more detailed review soon.
I already own a RT Expert Face Brush but I also received another one when I won a competition ran by Lamour Josie which I was very happy about! I love the RT brushes and own almost all of them but I especially love this brush for contouring and applying blush. You can find RT blushes in Boots and this one costs £9.99.
I also won this Lush Bubble Bar as part of Lamour Josie's competition. I've never really been a fan of Lush products but this smells amazing and I can't wait to try it. You can find this for £4.25 at any Lush store and online.

What beauty goodies have you purchased this month?

Topshop Lust List...

Unlike most girls I'm not a huge fan of Topshop, I usually feel like their stock is overpriced tat (please don't kill me). However, the items I have pictured above are ones I've currently got my eye on and look like they would be good quality and worth the money.

I adore the crotchet detailing on both of the blouses; they would be perfect for Spring/Summer time paired with a nice pair of jeans and flats or a pair of high waisted denim shorts. I also love this pinafore playsuit and have seen so many bloggers wearing it - I think it would look gorgeous with a blouse underneath and a pair of heeled chelsea boots or dressed down with a plain tee and vans/converse. The trousers would be a gorgeous twist on the monochrome trend and finally, these sandals would look great paired with any outfit for those (rare) sunny days.

What have you currently got your eye on or have recently purchased in Topshop?
