I love having a glimpse into other peoples everyday makeup bags so today I thought I'd give you a look into mine.
After applying my daytime moisturiser, I always apply a primer. My current favourite is the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer - it is amazing! Its silky formula means it glides effortlessly onto my skin and creates the perfect base for make up application. What's even better is its lightweight meaning it doesn't weigh my face down.
Although I have already applied the Smashbox primer to the majority of my face, I always use a small amount of Benefits Porefessional on my nose/T-zone as I find its the only primer that covers my pores to the amount I want them to be hidden. This primer is a translucent formula and extremely lightweight and it instantly minimises the appearance of my pores.
I love love love this foundation. I won't go into too much detail as I've already raved about it in my full review but what I will say is it has a smooth, silky texture and leaves my skin looking matte but with a lovely luminous glow.
Collection Concealer // £4.19
Pretty much every blogger, beauty addict and their mothers have tried and fallen in love with this concealer. Up until recently, I used this to cover both dark circles under my eyes and pesky blemishes on my cheeks as it's amazing at both.
I've only recently started using this concealer but I can't express how much I like it. I use this under my eyes because, as the name suggests, it has a lovely brightening aspect.
Ahh my dear old faithful, MAC Mineralize Skin Finish. This was my first high end make up purchase and I've loved it since the day I bought it. It gives my skin a natural coverage without looking cakey and I love the fact it doesn't drastically alter the look of my foundation.
After receiving the Benefit Blush palette for Christmas, I have fallen in love with Bella Bamba; it is a stunning watermelon pink shade that instantly lifts the cheeks. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued by Benefit however, I'd say Nars Orgasm and Deep Throat are close matches.
Like my face, before applying my eye shadow, I always like to use an eye primer. This one from Benefit is definitely my favourite. It really does prevent my eye shadow from creasing and rubbing off throughout the day.
I tend to change my eye shadow up quite a lot but its always neutral so for this post I thought I'd share one of my most worn - MAC's Woodwinked. I absolutely adore this eye shadow; I love the fact it applies one colour but, blend it with a fluffy brush in the crease and it suddenly looks like you've applied 2 shadows.
I don't really tend to stick to a specific eyeliner, at the moment, I'm using the Perfect Slim one from L'Oreal after picking it up for free. I have to say I am enjoying using it; it's extremely black and has a smooth application however, I sometimes find the nib a bit too long when creating a wing.
Like eyeliner, I often change my mascara. Recently, I've been using this one from MAC and its incredible. It gives my lashes both length and volume without clumping them making it perfect for everyday wear.
Back in my early teens, I would often wear black liner on my waterline but as I'm getting older I much prefer brown tones as they don't make my eyes look as small or tired. This one from Rimmel is a stunning metallic bronze which looks lovely with an array of neutral shadows. I particularly like the fact its waterproof meaning it lasts much longer in my waterline.
Finally, my current go-to lip product of choice is the Benefit Posie Balm; I love this hydrating balm for everyday use as it adds a lovely hint of colour to my lips without being too overbearing.
And there you have my current everyday face. It does look like a lot of products when they are listed here but it really isn't that bad and my skin definitely still looks natural rather than OTT which is exactly what I want for an everyday look.
What are some of the products you currently use on your everyday face?
