3 Things I Want to do This Summer...

Now I've finished my first year of university and my five months off for summer summer have officially started (just waiting for the sun!) I've been thinking about how I want to spend my time as there's going to be a lot of it! Here are a few of the things I am most looking forward to doing...
Go on Adventures | One of my favourite things to do is go on adventures, whether they be to local attractions such as Beamish Museum or visit different areas of the UK I love it. As someone with a fear of flying, I've actually seen a lot of the UK, so much so, its probably easier to say where I haven't been than where I have! I can't wait to go back to Brighton and London this summer and myself and my friends are planning a trip to the Lake District which should be fun.

Read More | I've always enjoyed reading but over these last few years, I've felt like I haven't done much of it at all, yes I studied English Literature at sixth form but this wasn't exactly what I'd call reading for enjoyment, more like torture really. Back in January, I even wrote a post about all of the books I'd like to read this year and here we are in May and how many have I read? None that's how many! First on my list is Caitlin Moran's 'How To Build a Girl'.

See More of My Friends | Since starting university in September, I feel like I rarely see my friends, don't get me wrong, I have friends at university and they are lovely but I mean my school friends who I've known for years. They've only been home for a couple of weeks at Christmas and Easter which was nice, but it will be great to all be back together for a good few months - I can't wait for BBQ's in the sun, nights out, spontaneous day trips and who knows what else!

What are you most looking forward to about this summer?

    1. I remember when I finished secondary school, it was the best feeling ever! Although surprisingly, I do sometimes wish I could go back! Hope you enjoy your time off :-) xo
