Review: Too Faced 'Better Than Sex Mascara'...

If there's one item I don't mind changing up in my make up bag its mascara. I'm always on the hunt for one that will be better than the last and one that will give me thick, long luscious lashes (that's the dream right there!) A couple of weeks ago, as sort of an 'election special', Debenhams had 0% VAT on all of their beauty so obviously being a beauty obsessee (is that even a word?) I couldn't resist picking something up - the item I chose was the much raved about Too Faced 'Better Than Sex' Mascara. 

I'm not going to lie, after reading the packaging I had some pretty high expectations for this mascara, with 100% of people surveyed saying they saw dramatic volume and longer lashes. Luckily for me, this mascara has not disappointed!

When I first opened the mascara, I thought the brush might be too big for my lashes but after  one application I was instantly impressed, my lashes immediately looked longer and with a second coating thicker but not clumpy and I'm putting this down to the collagen infused formula. I also love how densely black this mascara is!

The wand is hourglass shaped  which according to Too Faced helps "separate, coat and curl each lash to voluptuous perfection." I definitely think this unique brush helps distribute the product evenly throughout my lashes. 

What I love most about this mascara is the fact it stays put all day, there's no smudges under my eyes and my lashes still look pretty good - they haven't dropped after a couple of hours but have instead held the curl!

I'll definitely be repurchasing it when I run out. If you want stunning, voluminous and lengthened lashes then this is definitely a mascara for you!
