Mumford & Sons - Wilder Mind | I've been a fan of Mumford & Sons for years, their older albums 'Sigh No More' and 'Babel' are two of my all time favourites. When I heard they were ditching their trusty banjos for their latest album 'Wilder Mind', I was quite surprised but excited about what they were about to create. I definitely haven't been disappointed! This album, although different to their usual style, is still full of melodies, emotion and dynamics. My favourite tracks from the album are 'Believe', 'The Wolf', 'Just Smoke', 'Snake Eyes' and 'Hot Gates'.
Empire Soundtrack | Empire, in case you haven't heard of it, is an American TV series focusing on a father who runs a successful music business and has been diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease and his three sons one of whom he must select to take over his company when he dies. The series also features cameos from many stars including Jennifer Hudson, Naomi Campbell, Mary J Blige and Estelle. I'm really enjoying the series but I'm also liking the soundtrack in particular 'No Apologies', 'Keep it Movin' and 'Shake Down'.
