Tall Girl Problems...

I'm 5ft6/5ft7ish so I know I'm not the tallest person in the world but its still pretty damn tall and I'm definitely one of the taller ones in my friendship group. If you're a tall girl then I'm pretty sure you'll be familiar with the scenarios below...

1 | People are always commenting on how tall you are like you had no idea.
2 | And then there's people who always ask how tall you are.
3 | People asking how the weather is up there (my mam in particular thinks its funny to ask "Is it cold up there?" when I'm wearing heels)
4 | Remember the maxi dress trend? Finding one that touched the ground was pretty much impossible.
5 | Taking outfit pictures in the mirror = headless.
6 | You feel like everyone is looking at you, especially when you're on a night out (chances are, they aren't)
7 | Always being asked to reach for things on shelves or in cupboards.
8 | Hugging people shorter than you is always awkward when they are boob height.
9 | Looking like a giant next to your short friends.
10 | Getting annoyed when you see really short girls with really tall boyfriends.

Despite all of these "problems", I love being the height I am, as I love having long legs!
Let me know below, the daily problems you face aa tall girl or if you're short, let me know those!

Evening Skincare Routine...

As much as I love wearing make-up, I love taking it off at the end of the daand giving my skin the chance to breathe and restore itself. I'm finally happy with my skincare routine so thought I'd share it with you.
Garnier Micellar Water | I've just introduced this to my evening skincare routine after running out of Bioderma. I only use this to remove my eye make-up and find it incredibly gentle and very effective at removing pretty much all of my eye make-up including mascara.

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil (full review here) | I use this cleansing oil as the first cleanse of my routine; however, I only use it if I'm wearing make-up. I take about 1 or 2 pumps into my hands and massage it all over my face - you can literally feel the makeup melting away in a matter of seconds. Once I have massaged this all over my face, and my makeup has dissolved, I run my face cloth under warm water and use this to wipe away the residue. My skin is left feeling clean and certainly not like I'd just smothered it in oil.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm | I absolutely love this cleansing balm from Emma Hardie. I use it s both my evening cleanser or my second cleanser if I have been wearing make-up. I find this cleanser very spa like and it leaves my skin feeling beautifully cleansed.
Pixi Glow Tonic (full review here) | This is the exfoliating toner in my routine. I use it ever night after cleansing and since using this, my skin has felt smoother and looked brighter. It also helps serums and oils sink into the skin much better - I'm not sure how but it does!

La Roche Posay Serozinc (full review here) | This is the second toner in my evening skincare routine and this one, although still targeting breakouts, is more hydrating than the Pixi Glow Tonic. I simply spritz this directly onto my face and let it sink in. I've definitely noticed  reduction in blemishes since using this product which is always great!
The Body Shop Vitamin E Serum-in-Oil (full review here)I use this product every night before I apply my moisturiser and you only need a couple of drops for the entire face. Since using this serum-in-oil every evening, I've noticed such a difference to my skin, especially when I wake up. It feels much smoother and it looks more radiant and healthy.

The Body Shop Aloe Night Cream (full review here) | I do like this moisturiser, but I wouldn't be opposed to try some new ones as I don't love it. It's a nice moisturiser and leaves my skin feeling hydrated but I'm sure there will be better ones out there.
Liz Earle Eyebright (full review here) | I have quite sensitive eyes so sometimes after I've washed my make-up off, my eyes feel a little cloudy and irritated therefore this product is a godsend as it instantly cools and refreshes my eyes.

Alpha-H Absolute Eye Complex | I'm only 19 so I'm not fussy with eye creams and to be honest I haven't a clue if its working but lets hope! I suppose I'll only know when I'm older! However, I do like this one from Alpha-H and the gel consistency is really nice.

So there you have my evening skincare routine. Let me know your favourite products below and recommend me some night time moisturisers!

I've never really been one to use cream shadows, the eight pictured above are the only ones in my make up collection. However, over this last couple of months I've found myself reaching for them more often for either a wash of colour or a simple smokey look.

Bourjois - Rose Fauviste | Orange toned rose gold
Mally - Taupe | Shimmery true taupe (full review here)
Mally - Antique Taupe | Coppery toned taupe (full review here)

Things To Do In Kent...

I'm currently in Kent with my family and I have to say, its one of my favourite places to visit in the UK and I've been to a lot of places! Today I'm going to share with you some of the things there are to do in Kent...
Places to visit in Kent

Ashford Designer Outlet | Who doesn't love a designer outlet? I know I certainly do! The Ashford Desinger Outlet has a range of cafes and restaurants and over 80 boutiques including fashion brands such as Ted Baker, French Connection and Kurt Geiger.

Port Lympne Wild Animal Park | If you're a lover of animals then this zoo/safari park will be right up your street. At this wildlife park, there are both walking routes and a safari ride letting you get up close to the animals which include tigers, lions, gorillas and elephants. There are also feeding times and experiences available throughout the day ensuring its fun for all of the family.

Leed Castle | If you enjoy finding out about history and heritage, then Leeds Castle is a beautiful place to visit and throughout the summer months, they have a falconry display.

Bluewater Shopping Centre | Living in the N.E I'm pretty lucky with the places I have to go shopping, I'm 20 minute drive from Europe's largest shopping centre, the Metro Centre, and about half an hour from Newcastle. As well as that I'm 40 minutes from York on the train or an hour to Leeds so I'm very lucky indeed! However, I do really like Bluewater. There are lots and lots of stores and plenty of lovely places to eat including Bills, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Five Guys and Jamie's Italian.

Visit Brighton | Now I know Brighton isn't in Kent. But it's not faand makes fantastic day out. It's honestly one of my favourite places I've ever visited and I can't wait to go again this year!

If you're from Kent or have ever visited, let me know your favourite places to visit in the comments below!

Review: The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil...

If there's one thing you might know about me from reading my blog, it's that I'm a huge fan of The Body Shop!  The latest product I've been testing from them comes from their Vitamin E range and is their Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil
The Body Shop describe this serum-in-oil as an "8 hour beauty sleep for your skin" allowing your skin to feel "recharged and replenished" and look "fresher, rested and more radiant." It also contains their highest concentration of wheatgerm oil.

Since using this serum-in-oil every evening, I've noticed such a difference to my skin, especially when I wake up. It feels much smoother and as suggested by TBS, it looks more radiant and healthy. What I love most bout this product is how light it is, its not heavy like some facial oils and absorbs really well into the skin leaving it feeling instantly smooth.

I use this product every night before I apply my moisturiser and you only need a couple of drops for the entire face. Although this is targeted more towards evening skincare, I'm sure it would work perfectly well mixed with your morning moisturiser if you had exceptionally dry skin.

I'd definitely recommend this product to all skin types, I've got combination skin and its worked fine on me. You can purchase this from TBS for £15 which is complete bargain if you ask me!

What's your favourite overnight serum? Let me know below if you've tried this one!

Stages of Packing...

I hate packing. In fact I don't know a single person who enjoys it. Its not that I'm not organised, it's just I never know what I want to take with me. Below I've put together the various stages of packing for your holiday...

Putting off packing because you can't be bothered with the torture.
Finally giving in after the constant nags about needing to pack.
Needing outfits for all weather possibilities (in the UK anyway)
Finding clothes you forgot you had so spending ages trying them on.
Thinking about what you might have forgot.
And then realising what you forgot when you're miles from home.
Buying too much stuff whilst way and having to squeeze it into your already over packed case.

What do you hate about packing?
